Letter from Head Coach Joe
Dear PAHS Cavalier Baseball Parents:
Congratulations on your son making the 2021 PAHS Baseball team! They have put in a lot of work during
their career, and this is a compliment to your child. As I continuously reiterate to the guys it is a
privilege to wear Cavaliers across their chest, which requires great responsibility in their actions.
As a Princess Anne High School graduate, baseball alumni and now coach, I understand how special the
Cavalier Baseball program is to all that have had the privilege of wearing our uniform. Our focus this
year is to encourage growth of the student athlete both on and off the field and continue building on
team bonding while promoting our core values.
Last year we introduced the concept of “The Unit” where everyone on the team had a role to serve. We
appreciate everyone’s individuality, skill set and their unique set of talents will benefit them and the
entire program. My goal this year is to build on “The Unit” mentality by focusing on the familial aspect I
want our players, parents and fans to feel like one big community. This is not as common today in high school
athletics and I would love to see us get back to that here at PAHS.
This program is becoming much more than just a high school baseball team. We are creating an
organization-wide leadership group involving the parents, baseball alumni and community members to
support our players. I hope to continue growing this program and encourage you to become an active
participant as its success depends on all our supporters. Our “Unit” is not just the coaches and the
players, it’s everyone connected to PAHS Cavalier Baseball. We encourage you to find your role in
serving “The Unit”.
I am incredibly grateful and humble that my first year as a Head Coach comes here at Princess Anne.
This program means the world to me and has been a huge part of my life since I was 14 years old. Thank
you for entrusting me with your children's development and I look forward to seeing you at the ballpark.
